Fix a dark indoor video with Exposure and Shadows
Lift Exposure for the whole shot, then raise Shadows so faces read clearly without turning the lamps white.
Improve video quality by fixing light, color and clarity. Brighten dark shots, correct color casts and sharpen soft footage, or tell Manus what to fix.
Drag the sliders to brighten an AI-generated sample video and test color changes. This interactive preview illustrates the effect and is not the editor itself.
Select a video or image clip on the timeline, open Adjust and fine-tune its look, from quick color correction to subtle color grading. Every change can be undone.
Each fix names the sliders to try in Manus. The sample videos illustrate lighting differences, not measured product results.
Lift Exposure for the whole shot, then raise Shadows so faces read clearly without turning the lamps white.
Lower Highlights to keep the sky, raise Shadows to bring the subject out of silhouette.
Add Contrast and pull Blacks down a little so a grey-day clip stops looking washed out.
Cool down Temperature to remove a tungsten cast, then set Whites so bright areas look clean.
Drag the slider to see the difference. Sharpening helps footage that is a little soft, but it can’t fix very blurry video.
Video Editor has 12 filters with Intensity control, plus Temperature and Saturation sliders. These sample color treatments are illustrative approximations.
Work by hand on the timeline, ask Manus in chat, or combine both on the same project.
A video enhancer improves how footage looks after it is shot: brighter exposure, balanced color, more contrast and crisper detail. As an AI video enhancer, Manus lets you adjust a clip with the sliders in Video Editor, or describe the fix in chat and let Manus process the footage for you.
Import your clip into Video Editor in Manus Desktop, select it on the timeline, open Adjust and choose the Adjust tab. Drag Brightness, Exposure, Contrast and the other sliders until the shot looks right, then export the video.
The Adjust tab in Manus Video Editor has 12 sliders: Brightness, Saturation, Contrast, Gamma, Clarity, Exposure, Shadows, Highlights, Blacks, Whites, Temperature and Sharpness. The Basic tab adds Filters with an Intensity slider, Effects and Blur.
The adjustment sliders live in Video Editor, which runs in Manus Desktop for macOS and Windows. On the web, you can attach a clip in chat and describe the color correction you want; when you need the full timeline, the web app guides you to the desktop app.
Start with Exposure to lift the whole shot, then raise Shadows to open up dark areas without washing out the sky. If highlights start to clip, lower Highlights or Whites. Brightness and Gamma help with smaller midtone changes.
Clarity and Sharpness make soft footage look crisper by adding contrast to edges and fine detail. They work best on clips that are slightly soft; they cannot rebuild detail in footage that is badly out of focus.
Video Editor does not have a dedicated denoise slider. Attach the clip in chat and describe the grain you want to reduce. Manus works on its own computer and can process footage with code such as FFmpeg, then you review the result.
Yes. Select a clip, open Adjust and pick a filter such as Warm, Cool, Vintage, Noir, Sepia or Ice, then set its Intensity. Temperature and Saturation give you finer control over the color.
Yes. Videos you create with Manus AI video generation open in Video Editor with each shot, image and caption on its own track, so you can adjust any video or image clip the same way as your own footage.
Yes. Video Editor has Undo and Redo controls, and every slider change is recorded, so you can step back to the original look of a clip.
Use the export controls in the desktop editor to render your video, then share the exported file wherever you publish your work.
